Dresden High School

This week is Beta week! The Dresden High School Beta club is celebrating the week recognizing the pillars of thier club: Leadership, Service, Achievement, Motivation, and Reflection. Today the club shone the spotlight on Service. This morning, club members helped to unload and prepare items to be packed for the Weakley County Backpack Program, sponsored by First Baptist Church of Dresden. Then in the afternoon, more club members helped to pack the bags. The Backpack Program benefits food insecure students in all Weakley County schools. The bags are distributed on Fridays to ensure students have access to food over the weekend that they can prepare themselves.
